scrap brass value?

Anyone tatted any stuff in recently, I got a hundred or so brass diverter valve bodies and wondered if they were worth getting rid of yet?

OK I confess - I have a hidden agenda. I'm a brass fetishist and the jump in the price of copper means that I can't afford to feed my habit.

As you know, some heavy metals can be very damaging to the environment, so my small-scale smelting and disposal business offers a similar no-charge service. However I currently only offer safe disposal of scrap gold.
