my nice new bamboo flooring has scratches thanks to careless relatives
has anybody got any ideas how to repair the floor

if its a dark or toffee colour bamboo try rubbing some lindseed oil over the scratches it wont get rid of them but will do a great job off hiding them or if there is any quite big scratches fill them with a wax repair kit {http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/Konig-Furniture-Repair-Kit-Hard-Wax---Dark-Wood_W0QQitemZ140296131956QQcmdZViewItem]

Depends on what finish was used original. Wax on varnished/lacquered floors will make it slippery and sticky.
Use a polish that is suitable for the finish.
