hi there got to screed my floor of new extension this weekend was told by bc that i needed a 25mm upstand of insulation round the room whitch i have done but is this right as i have here.
this is were the 4.2m door will be,do i need it were the door will be or do i screed right up to the brickwork?

The perimeter strip is designed for both expansion / contraction and thermal bridging. It needs to be full depth of the screed and insulation. Best of luck with the project.

The insulation upstand is required around external walls only, and is the full depth of the screed and should overlap the insulation below the screed//floor slab

If that doorway is external, you don't need it there either as the internal block will come off so that you can screed the threshold
