Hi all, hopefully a basic question for those who do this every day if you don't mind!
I'm ordering a shower head, fed from the wall mounting.
The long and short of the instructions is screw it into the wall (G 1/2) see below with no further info.

The first question is g1/2 basically a normal tapered thread into a wall plate elbow like this, attached to a suitable noggin?

and the second question is how do I get the rose both the right way up and water tight? normally with tapered threads I wrap a good 10 turns of ptfe and do things up tight, but clearly doing it up tight isn't going to happen when the angle is important. Do I just wrap 20+ turns, and do it up until it's level? I did that OK with the outside tap but that was outside so leaks wouldn't be a big issue.

Thanks!
