Hi, I have a home security system with an SD1 speech dialler. All has been fine until BT are now going to upgrade my broadband and phone line to a digital service and have said my current setup won’t work. Currently the alarm is hard-wired into a phone/adsl box and understand this would need to be connected to the new router in some way - my question is can this easily be done, presumably with some sort of new connector, and will the SD1 work ok on a digital service? Many thanks Paul

Thanks for the info - Does that mean I’d need to dump the existing Honeywell G2 panel?

I would personally as not a fan. But if you say the word 'galaxy' on this forum 3 times in a row, a genie will appear to answer all your questions.

You don't even need to say it three times. :)

OP, you can add the vmod module from SelfMon Ltd. The module connects to the Galaxy bus and provides app access and secure alarm reporting over sms, push, voice, email, Etc.

The module can also be integrated with home assistant using its built-in mqtt client capability.

Disclosure - I run SelfMon.
