Can anyone recommend a sealant for my new stone hearth please?
Thinking of applying a sealant to my newly installed stone hearth. I presume sealing the stone will help prevent it becoming stained from soot & ash from the log burning stove I'm having fitted, whilst also bringing out the colours? It looks a little drab when dry, but when its wiped over with a damp cloth it looks rather nice.
