Hi,

I've moved into a new house with lots of downlights, and after a while some need replacing. The ones in living areas are easy enough to replace with a twist, but I just can't figure out what to do with the bathroom ones.

I've tried turning the bezel, turning the glass, fitting a small screwdriver in etc but without luck. I haven't pushed or pulled too hard to avoid damaging unnecessarily. Any ideas? I've attached some pictures.

Thanks!

I've not seen that type. At a guess, the ridged bit near the ceiling stays still and the bit surrounding the glass either twists, or prises off.

From here it looks like a JCC one.

I think you hold onto the ridged area, and do a quarter turn anti-clockwise.

Check the fitting isn't sealed in with caulk before you try to remove it, think I can see some in the picture.
