Hi,

Is there any way of increasing the "flush capacity" of a modern sealed cistern toilet?

The cistern appears to be a separate porcelain tank with dual push button flush. No manufacturers ID visible!

The 1/2 flush button works OK, but the full flush button sounds a little like a didgeridoo and you have to keep the button depressed to get any flush action, which appears weaker than the 1/2 flush option!

Is this servicable or do I need to replace?

Do these modern units still use the same float-arm & siphon principle as traditional bogs. If so, how do I get in the blighter?

Cheers folks,

youd be hard pushed to increase the maximum flush capacity as most cisterns have an internal overflow nowadays which just pours into the bowl if over the 6L capacity.
