Sealing brick paving?

Just had our garden remodelled. There's a patch of frost proof bricks with paviour sand in the joins. The bricks are on a bed mortar in with loose paviour sand the gaps which are about 8mm wide (not like block paving on sand with tight joins).

When we brush this are the sand gets brushed out to. Any ideas on sealing or additives to the sand to stop it coming out.
