Hello!

Not quite sure which forum to post this on really but i guess you guys will have a better idea....

I have just fitted an electric shower onto tiles. Will i need to seal around the shower where it meets the wall? I'm just worried that if the electric unit is sprayed directly that there will be water ingress.

Cheers

I think most electric showers are designed to stand off the wall by a small amount. This is because they generate quite a bit of heat and need that little bit of air circulation.

Ok - cheers chaps. I'll take it that if theres no mention of it that it must require this "air gap".

Cheers again
