Hi,

I need to self level a small downstairs wc room in order to tile. There are two drain points in the room to the clay waste pipework and I'm thinking it would be best just to use one of them. Is there any recommended way to seal the top entry point for one of the pipes in order to carryout a self level. Please see attached picture.

Thanks for any help.

I don't really understand your question.

Do you mean to temporarily seal it while you do the floor level?

For that I would use a drain testing bung with a bit of old cloth on top of it.

Or you mean something else?

Drain bung or a drain cap if you have enough room below the screed.
