I have installed a laminate worktop in our new kitchen and have a matching laminate upstand to install. However across the 2.6m length unfortuantly thr worktop is out by roughly 3-4mm and the upstand isn't completely flat and is out in thr wrong direction causing a 6-8mm gap at one end.

What is the best way to fill this? Or is it worth trying to screw in from below to 'pull' it into line with the worktop? Or just colour matched silicone? Or fill with something then silicone?

Many thanks
