sealing quarry tiles

Hi all,

We just laid a quarry tile floor in our small cellar utility room using standard B&Q quarry tiles. I've heard some mention on-line of a need to 'seal' quarry tiles but other sites say there's no need. Could anyone advise whether it is necessary for a utility room that no-one is really going to see and, if it is, what we should use? Any advice would be much appreciated!

i do tend to seal quarry,with aqua-mix products,some fixers dont.
depends on how good a quality quarry you have..b&q ones never fixed theirs before so cant comment on them for quality mate.
