Sir
beneath my kitchen floor I recently came across a black-n-white quarry tiled floor beneath a modern'ish badly laid ceramic tile surface. We have cleaned/chipped off most of the 5mm thick ceramic tile adhesive on the surface of the quarries but are still left with very visable white'ish staining. we have tried products such as Hydrocloric acid, amonia and the 'usual' household cleaners. we have even tried a wetstone and scrubbed the quarries but still the staining persists.
Can you recommend a cleaning product or method to rid the floor of this unsightly staining please and perhaps leave us with a hardwearing semi matt finish please??
Sincerly
