Hi, our bath taps are leaking (through the holes where the tap fits through the bath) problem is we cant get under the bath to remove the taps.

Is there anyway of sealing the taps without unscrewing/removing the taps?

I suppose you could use translucent sanitary silicone sealant, bit of an amateurish bodge though.

Thats what I thought.... use a really fine nozzle and try to get it as close around the base of the tap as possible.

I was really hoping for a magic solution though

Well don't give up just yet, someone may know of a magic solution, but I can't really see what. I mean the solution as I'm sure you know is to replace the washers that sit under the tap base, which of course requires the removal of the tap.

Why can't you remove the taps ?
