Securing a loose-fitting plastic drain gulley.

Not sure if I should be asking this here - perhaps the mods can move it to plumbing if necessary. Thanks.

Could anyone suggest what sort of material would be best to secure a plastic drain gulley to the drain itself - which is cast? The plastic item is a recent purchase and does not fit particularly well. It is unlikely to ever require being removed.
