Hi All,

I am thinking about using some sleepers as edging for a new Indian sandstone patio. How do you go about securing them to the ground to stop them moving?

I have seen some people hammer metal brackets into the ground and screw them to the sleepers.

I have also seen people who drill rebar into them and dig a hole and pour concrete in to the hole and sit the rebar into that?

Which way is best? Can anyone recommend some brackets if that's what people recommend?

Kind Regards

John

If only single sleeper high then the metal brackets should suffice.

For raised beds I use posts concreted in.
