We need to get close to our house with a wooden fence but there is a concrete foundation that extends beyond the house into the yard. What is an effective option of securing wooden 4x4 posts in concrete? Drilling, bracing or some other means?

TIA

these work if properly installed. Drill holes and either use a chemical resin fixing or decent length hammer-in bolt.

Get the timber into the metal shoe first before fixing down. Otherwise you might find that the post doesn't go in level. A thin bed of strong mortar under the metal plate will also help with levelling.
