I’ve got one of those stored in my attic; someone gave it to me years ago. Have no idea how to get it working though as there’s no ballast for the lamp, looks like it connected directly to the mains 
If anyone knows how I could get it working I’d be chuffed
Oh and I don’t have the original lamp for it.

The bloke that had it said its in the end bit
He said the starter is also in there.
It would be about 100mm X 30mm so I cant see where else it could go.
Might get more on e bay for it though
It looks quite art deco.
The fat T12 tubes are getting harder to get now though

I removed one of those from a kitchen as part of a rewire when I was an apprentice.
Never seen one since.
I seem to remember it not having a ballast too.
I have seen working fittings with PL lamps, but no control gear. Not a clue how that works.
