I had new taps fitted 2 years ago and nneed to get the tap covers off.
They have seized on though.

Is there anything better than wd40?
Or could i use heat ftom hair dryer or blowlamp?
The taps are chrome plated brass so not sure If using heat will take the chrome off.
Thanks in advance for your help

Try carefully pouring boiling hot water over ,the heat expansion may do the trick. Pic of taps would be good !

We can presume that the taps have a disc on top with a screw underneath and they have been removed, now you want the chrome covers off?
If so then they should pull up so the Boa constrictor won`t help instead a towel to protect the ceramic and 2 screwdrivers as levers will.
Have seen a puller for removing windscreen wipers used to good effect.
