Self employed job management software

I was wondering what software people use for job management and material logging quoting etc. is there something you recommend perhaps iPad and pc based? Seen something called simpro (I think) just wondered if there's anything else or if anyone uses that?

I looked at a couple a few years ago but nothing worked, and prices changed so fast (cost of copper, overheads, etc)

I just have a template of line items that I update with latest prices from suppliers.
Plug in experience of how long jobs take to do
Have a line item called "bunce" to cover the unexpected and that's your price.
