Hi got a small problem ,been called to a house with a system boiler which is part of a sealed central heating system which indirectly heats a dual coil cylinder the second coil is from a solar panel. The hot water is gravity fed. There is a twin channel programmer but no other controls in the system, the solar side is a separate system and only heats the hot water. The problem is that the heating is not working although the pump seems to be working and the boiler is ok all the rads have water could it be an air lock or is the pump on its way out .Any ideas will be gratefully received.

Is the solar system connected to a copper cylinder with a 3 bar pressure release valve? Is there any backward pressure into the cylinder and causing the hot water to leak out?

Other option is to bleed the hot water feed to the cylinder.
