Your last line... Be aware that BG do NOT do a service!
You list your location as "Warickshire". That covers a wide area, parts of which are well served by BG and others are rather "in the sticks".
One of my friends, in that village on the B1142 or whatever from Warwick to Redditch, had to wait 3.5 days to have their electricity restored after a power cut a number of years ago.
In theory, BG should give the same service where ever you are. In reality places like Harbury tend to get overlooked!
