I have had this dryer for over a year, it rarely gets used but lately it's stopped producing heat.I have cleaned out the filters, the air feed and the water trap but still works fine but the dryer is luke warm.

If there is something obvious i'm sorry for my incompitence as roofing is my game and i'm crap with electrics. :D

Does it have a high & low heat setting, if so do you have it on high? Other than that given that you say you are" crap at electrics" would you want to go any deeper?

I'm not as bad i sometimes make out.

Should of said it's a condenser and it does'nt have a high, low setting just settings for loads and materials.

Just need a rough idea to see if i could possibly get it sorted.

sevis has gone bust very hard to get parts ,never known a tumble dryer to not have a low heat setting if its luke warm i would say heater knackered.

Luke warm would probably be optimistic as i think it's only blowing through the atmosperic temperature of the room.

Usual problem with driers not heating are thermostats(possibly resetable) or as rocks 1 says the element is u/s. You will need a multimeter to test both
