Hi, I wonder if you could help me.....
I'd like to set 'doors only' for when I'm out but the dog is in (if I need to go to the shop etc).
I have a Yale6400 home alarm.
I have two alarm options currently set but would like a third, not sure if it's possible though.
Currently if I press 'arm' the door & PIRs are alarmed when I leave the house & 'home' is doors only for when I'm home.
Can I use 'home arm' then leave in the exit time or will this set the alarm off because I've opened the door & broken the connection?
Cheers
D

I've never tried that, but because the Door sensors send a signal at the moment you open them (not when you close them) it should work if you open the front door, press Home Set, exit and close the door. Give it a try.

Ah yes, that does work to set it BUT because it's 'home alarm' the alarm is activated immediately when I open the door to get back in as there's no option to for entry.
Thanks anyway JohnD.
Need to lie down in a dark room & think this one through!
