Susspended timber floor

concrete oversite with shale

We intended to remove all to get the shale out. whilst we will lay 6" footing for the bearer walls, what is the bare minimum acceptable standard to cover the clay ground, DPM covered with pea shingle meet building regs?

Also with a new susspended timber floor is there insulation requirements?
