Hi peoples ,
have a nasty smell in the bathroom ,seems to be eminating from the waste hole in the shower tray .
The waste hole does not seem to have a proper trap that holds water, and I think the air is coming back up and causing the smell .I have tried bleach etc to know avail ,the smell comes back .!!!

The pipework goes under the bath and I can get to it .The floor is solid and the pipe runs only a couple of inches above it ,so im looking for a shallow trap that i can put in the pipework to hopefully stop the smell coming back up and out of the tray .!!!

Any help much appreciated .
Regards
Rob .

hep vo

the trap in the shower may not be assembled properly try a search

Thanks kevplumb .

Does that just require me to cut a section of the waste pipe out(which is running horizontal to the floor ) to suit the length of the trap and join each end of waste pipe to each end of the trap ???

Also where do I get such a trap ??

I did look on Screwfix site but did not see any like that .

Thanks
Again .
Regards
Rob .
