Hello
I’ve got a shallow pitch slate roof over the utility room (7 sq m) and have had various problems, so now want to get it sorted once and for all.
A roofer has suggested replacing either with Flexitec GRP or any easy slate system (which he he says will address the capillary action issues).
I’d prefer the latter but it means composite slate tiles and I’m a bit wary. I’ve seen some roofs which look like they’ve faded, is that what happens? It is at the back of the house so not a deal breaker but wonder if anyone had any strong opinions. Thanks
