Does anyone happen to know where I can get an ATX PSU to replace a dud on an HP Pavilion, model 7815?

The problem is that it's much more compact and bijou then yer standard ATX PSU (which is 140mm). Ideally it needs to be 100mm deep.

Second-hand would also do, if anyone has a carcass with a working PSU.

Thanks.

I personally wouldn't use a second hand PSU. One of these might just about fit, depth 102mm.

You could always just re-shell it into a cheap ATX case.

Many thanks Igorian - I know where you're coming from wrt 2nd hand items; I considered this only because the client is soon to consign this machine to a backwater, so I don't want to spend too long on this or too much on materials.

Anyway, 102mm would certainly go in so I won't need to go there.

I can't believe how cheap that 180W unit is, and I really like the idea of the fan overrun. :)
