Hi
Apologies if this has been covered elsewhere but I couldn't find anything relevant.
We have recently brought a mid terrace house (circa 1901) and have been replacing the lead piping throughout the house. Unfortunately when we disconnected the lead pipe from the main supply we discovered that we also supply the nieghbours home. Our main stop tap isolates both ours and the nieghbours home and the main pipe for both heads under our kitchen (under a concrete floor). As the pipe is in our property the water company accept no responsibilty for this.
Anyway, I was wondering what our options are? Can we go ahead and replace all the pipework? Should we investigate with our neighbours about separating the supplies? And has anyone else had to tackle this before?
Any ideas/help would be much appreciated as we are a bit stumped as to what we should do next.
Many thanks
