Sharp sand..

is there different types of sharp sand?
reason I ask is someone told me theres sharp sand for building and sharp sand for concreting.?
I have read about mixing soft/sharp sand etc.. and now confused!!!!!

i think that the sharp sand for concreting comes with small gravel in it..

Not sure what you're trying to do Gizza, but if you want sharp sand and gravel for making concrete then this is commonly called ballast.
