I was the 4th fitter shed had out to her gloworm condenser conv boiler, it was firing up but after 10 - 20 mins cut out and then it was firing up but cutting out after 2 - 5 min, so i went there at 3 pm and shed had new parts tried g/valve,pump,etc , all no good, so i knocked and seen the condensing pipe going into the flower bed , i went in told her i was checking outside, when she seen me digging her soil up with my trowel she said"erm, ive got to go out in a minute, so ill give you money to cover your costs", i just laughed, and took the pipe out cut 3" off it stuck it back on and said "try that",but she wasnt there , then i heard "do you have a clue what your doing" her neighbour was with her now, he told me to pack my hacksaw and trowel up and p... off, i had turned it on by now and was refusing to leave until it cut out or it was working and i was paid , after spending 30 min listening to them going on about how id look good on the tele, i said "check your rads", "BLOODY HELL THERE ALL WORKING" ,after getting the adulation i got my money packed my trusty trowel away and rode off into the sunset
