Hello
I've been researching sheds recently and shed bases.
I have a question firstly about what's best for a base - a wooden frame kit or a plastic base kit (I've narrowed it down to these two). Both seem like sound options for our garden. I *think* I favour the plastic base filled with fine gravel as I perceive it to be a bit stronger and longer lasting, tho' maybe a little more work to do; not much in it however, probably quite an easy job in either case.
In terms of the shed itself - and the answer to this might be obvious although I don't know it - how does the shed floor attach to the base. Does it just sit on top? If the base is wooden, does the shed floor get screwed on to it? If the base is plastic, does the shed just sit on top or does it get attached in some way?
The shed I'm thinking of will be 8'x4' and will have the usual stuff in there, some bikes/tools etc - ie some weight.
Thanks...
