Hi all,

Building a new shed

I’ve got the slabs laid, and I’ve bought some plastic base to raise it off the ground which I’ll screw to the slabs.

I’m going to insulate the floor underneath with PIR boards, my question is do I need any membrane under the shed ? And can I cap off the open end of the floor so you don’t see the insulation?

I used adjustable feet. The round ones... I made a frame with the adjustable feet and placed shed on that.
Why insulate floor?
If you use kimgspan moisture can't get through it.
I have a gap under to allow airflow as it's going to get ground damp.

Would it not be easier to put some 25mm kimgspan on the floor with wood sheets over... Maybe

I’m building the shed from scratch so wanted to insulate the shed base underneath whilst I have the chance.
