I’m looking to build a shed on some wasted land behind my garage. It’s 6m long and 1.8m wide with a 4’ close board fence on the boundary.
Now, I know this is a bodge but can I use the exciting fence as half the wall, extend the posts to desired height and have the top half shiplap? I intend on insulating and plaster boarding the inside anyway and externally it’s onto scrub land so no one would ever see it.
Can anyone see an issue with this?
I’ve also chucked some left over scalping down there which are now quite compact between the brick garage wall and the wooden kickboard. Can I pave straight onto this or do I need to replace the kick board with a more permanent retainer?
Cheers guys!
