Shed build advice

Hi,

I am a first time shed builder for my garden. I have simply tried to copy the steps of the shed my builder made for me some time ago.

Now, I am a little confused. I am reading in some places to add fascia boards around the top where the felt is nailed and in other places not to. Can somebody please clarify?

Also, I know I still need to add some shiplap between the doors and the far sides of the front side. I also need to make some shelves and put a lock on it.

But, is there anything else anybody thinks I have missed out?

general comments

quite impressive
the felt at the front should form some sort off drip clear off the doors and internal timbers
as it is the water will tend to hang under the timber above the doors as it tracks round the felt as there is no place to fall off
what would help is say a 19x38mm or what ever fits at the front under the roof and above the door so rain fals down the felt and falls in front off the door with no path back to keep the timber dry
if the timber can be fixed to the roof with the perhaps 5 to 8 degree angle off the roof then the felt can be tucked in the back as it will fall off the front face

So, you're saying a fascia should go at the front in front of the nails?
Should it go into the roof piece or just below it and finish before the doors?
Also, I am not quite understanding the last paragraph?

it doesnt really matter how you do it as long as the end off the felt is say 12mm clear off the timber to shed the water or the felt has to fold under and go uphill so the water drips off the low point

But, wouldn't the water go into the wood then?

Also, I noticed some water at the bottom front and left following heavy rain. Any idea of what I can do to help with this? It's subtly exposed. Can I cover it with some tape or something?

Could I put a sheet of the roof felt on the base and roll it over the front edge?

Fit a length of arris rail at the bottom of the door ..silicone and screwed that will divert the water past the flooring.

Run a bead of clear silicone along the leading edge of the felt to form a drip..otherwise rainwater may run behind the door.

Do you think I could attach a piece of the shiplap to the bottom of each door sideways instead of the arris rail to achieve the same effect?

Wouldn't be much clearance but could give it a go.

The cross beams on the doors are supposed to go in the opposite way.
E.g. Left door: from top left towards bottom right.
Swap doors, fit the left to the right and the right to the left.
If you leave them like that they will sag in no time.

I was thinking of doing it with a piece of uPVC I had laying around
