sheeting for my roof?

what kind do i need, stirling board i have heard is good would that be ok?
 
o.s.b. (oriented sterling board) is about as low a spec' as you want to go. it has to be a minimum of 18mm and you may require joint noggings, dependent on joist/rafter spacings.

shutter ply is ok too.

w.b.p. is over the top, but at the right price is the best.

DO NOT go anywhere near chipboard.
 
Sterling board is oriented strand board, surely?

I once used bitumenised chipboard for a shed roof, with felt covering. I learned my lesson: most of it disintegrated completely in just a few years.
