Sorry put this in the building section first.......:-( !!

Hi all,
Need to move a window up about a 18" as a pitched roof will be meeting the wall where the window currently is.
Its a small window (~2' W * 4'H) on a gable end.
Whats the best way to do this?...and any tips etc be great....its a cavity block house.

My guess is...
1.Consaw out where the new higher lintels will go...pop them in.
2.Remove Window and blockwork above it that is no longer required.
3.Build upwards to new sill and place window in new position.

Let me know if that sounds right...any any tips about dust control inside the house be great...im thinking of building a frame of some sort with polythene around it for the inside.

Cheers,
Martin.
