Should a boiler be classified as ID/AR for low gas rate/pressure?

And... At a time when it's suits the body not the occupant! ;)
lol yep . Too be honest by time we had turned up usually within the hour the majority of custs had calmed down and would speak to us politely instead of how they had blown up at the person wanting to cut them off .

amazing how quickly they gave permission when we turned up and said sorry cutting you off in the street now and its going to cost you at least 1k to get turned back on .
Ie when the special key mentioned elsewhere has been used to cut the gas off :giggle:

It's a stretch but if say the meter governor had collapsed and the boiler were barely working due to lack of gas which he could see, he wouldn't have needed to measure anything. That doesn't cover all he did/didn't do though!
He said the gas meter was fine but said the gas hob needed replacing because of no flame safety device.

I'm still trying to get a feel from the point of view of the gas safety inspection.

For a system boiler that is non-modulating would you ID/AR/NCS if the gas rate/inlet pressure is say 20% below the nominal rating from the factory?

UPDATE: Independent Gas Safe engineer came. He said the valve just needed adjusting. He cleaned the burner and all good except an NCS given that the kitchen cabinet it sits in is slightly too small for the manufacturer's ventilation dimensions.

I've learned by lesson. Don't use PP and get an independent.

Don't use Pimlico. One told me a decade ago they were extected to get things up to latest standards to get a minimum job value £350.
Successful company, but...
