Thanks for your comments, they definitely paint a brighter picture! It certainly needs a bit of a facelift, both inside and out, which is why I was worried about having to shell out even more if a new roof is required.

In my opinion, I would want that retiled.
The valley require attention possibly some tiles are hanging loose.
Batten gauge appears random .. it just a uck up.
Good news is the tiles can be reused..
