Hi,

Dug out a hedge with a digger, and now going to drill 2ft holes where the hedge was for 4" posts / 6ft fence.

Should i wack the ground before drilling the post holes? Its quite soft soil and its 18" until i hit clay.

Using a petrol hole borer to drill the holes.

So just drill the hole and postcrete, right?

Im worried that it wont be strong enough.

take the hole a bit deeper then. make sure its a nice thin hole and really ram the concrete down well.
