My Mate the NICEIC approved contractor told me a nice one he inspected last week.

Factory refurbed as small industrial units.
One unit had a "Domestic Area" next to it.
Shower (6 or 7KW he thinks) wired in 1.5 T & E on a 15m run.
Installed about 18 months ago and frequently used by lady.
The cable was a "bit" brittle.
Also 10m radial 2.5 feeding sockets. Last socket had plugged in and wired in 2.5 a full blown cooker , luckily only one ring used on that.
The mind boggles.
Even the ardent anti Part P brigade must admit something is/was needed.
Oh yes the installer returned to P***stan (I wonder if he took a immersion heater , plug & socket to immerse in a bucket of water (Yes that is common I know from my own experience)

What do you mean by domestic area? Is it a dwelling or a rest area for the factory etc?

I took it to mean a "live in" portion next to a unit , however I will check.
I am not saying that it would count as domestic dwelling in itself and therefore come under Part p.
I was merely saying, as you know, dogdy installations and the need for some form of check/assessment from whichever angle it is done
