I want to replace my loose shower bracket, but I don't know how to take it off the rail. Can someone please teach me how to remove the shower brackets?
Is the wall behind tiles hollow ,or solid brickwork ? If the latter ,you could try bigger wall plugs and screws. Or apply silicone between the tile and the back of the part that screw's to the wall ( top and bottom brackets ) leave to cure for 24 hours ,should hold it quite well.
If you buy a new one its inevitable that the holes in the tiles will need to be in different positions ,opening another can of worms !!
Which part is loose? The actual rail that fixes to the wall or the handset holder or is the whole slider rail loose within the brackets? Take it all apart and give it a good clean and descale the lime then reassemble and use some no nails or silicone behind the wall brackets before screwing them back to the wall.
