im all for constructive criticism but the point could of been made better there was no need for sarcasm with his petty examples with screwdrivers and knives e.t.c... im sorry but guys like that do my nut in?

They were parallels to make the point that IF you CHOOSE to do electrical work then test equipment is an essential just as much as all all the other tools you need, and that in exactly the same way that IF you CHOOSE to do carpentry an inevitable consequence of your choice is that you need to get a saw to use instead of a bread knife, IF you CHOOSE to do electrical work an inevitable consequence of your choice is that you need to get at least a multimeter.
