Calling all qualified sparks!
I am wondering if it is possible to make a rule of thumb concerning shower circuits.
Could you look at a given circuit, assume that some of the cable run will be in thermal insulation, and apply any other correction factors that you can reasonably assume will be needed and by factoring in the cable size and length of run, work out whether the circuit is safe or not?
Eg, if you have a 15m run of 6mm T & E on a 40A B type, can it safely supply a 9.5?
