I currently have a hudson reed kia mixer valve with a rainfall shower head and would like to add a flexy hose and shower head mainly for easier cleaning of the shower etc. I can access the pipework so my plan was to add a diverter valve in the pipe that runs to the shower head then run a pipe from that to wall union. My problem is finding a suitable diverter valve that I can fit a hudson reed knob to does anyone know of a suitable valve or can direct me to someone who can help.

You could just tee off with a manual valve to the flexible hose. This would take most or all of the flow when the handset is washing the parts that the other shower cannot reach.

If everything is on exposed pipework, you can get chrome compression fittings, and your manual valve could be a good quality manual radiator valve. The flexible shower hose will screw straight onto it. I don't know how you would match the knob - try manual towel rail valve suppliers.
