Shower Fault - Triton Jade II 8.5kw

I've had my shower, fitted by prof, for about 3 yrs - Triton Jade II 8.5kw. Last couple of days I have to put the temp on it's max, 10, to get any heat in the water. The water then has some heat but the flow is poor. Any ideas please what the problem is? Do these showers only have a short life span? Feedback grateful

heater is scaled up if you get a competant plumber he should be able to descale it

Hi, thanks for that. I assume you're refering to heater element of shower? Would I be able to have a go at descaling or is it tricky and best left to prof?

But for the cost of them - £75.00 - it's not worth it. Just buy new and replace.

I was thinking maybe best to replace. This one is an 8.5kw, if replaced could I go upto 9.5kw?
