shower fitted after tiling?

we are having a shower (exposed) which runs of the combi system, so not a power shower, do we have the shower fitted to the pipework after the tiling has been done or before?

Yes, but the pipe work is usually buried in the wall before tiling and at the exact centre for the shower valve, most are 153mm.
