Hi,

Yesterday the fuse in my shower flipped/ overloaded. Anyway, I flipped the fuse switch back on and the shower started working again - The only downside is that the water pressure is a lot lower and I have to turn the heat dial up a lot further to get heat from the shower.

Any ideas what's happened and how to solve this?

Thanks! :)

Is the water pressure actually lower, or do you mean that you have to reduce the flow rate in order to get the water coming out hot?

Then I'm pretty sure that what's happened is that one of the elements in the heater can has failed. That's what took out the circuit breaker, and that's why the shower no longer works so well.

You can either replace the heater can, if you can get one and if it makes economic sense and if you are competent to do it, or you buy a new shower.
