Shower help please

Hi

I have a Mira Advance shower and im having a problem where the water wont stop unless i shut it from the stopcock.

Whether the shower is on or off, the water just keeps flowing.. any ideas what could be causing this?

The shower is a couple of years old, but hasn't been used for a few months (was having a new cubicle fitted)

if all power including the isolator /pullcord is off then it's the
solenoid coils failed.
check the resistance on the coil with a multi meter.

whether isolator power is on or off the water just flows.. i will check what you said.

Someone mentioned it could be the flow valve? does this sound right?

that is the flow valve the solenoid coil is the part on the top of the flow valve with the wires to it.

on this shower it comes complete as a unit at about £52
